Full-Magnetic Pen Bay Released: Magnetism Instead of Threads
The new version drops threads for a full-magnetic closure — and the click of a pen returning home becomes part of the experience.

We have completed a significant structural revision of the pen bay: the cap closure moves from a threaded rotation to a fully magnetic connection. What started as an engineering decision has changed how the pen feels in daily use.
Three concrete results
Faster, with more feedback. Dropping the pen into its bay now produces a crisp closing sound. The action is quicker than screwing a cap on or off, and it is audible — you know the pen is home without looking.
No threads to wear. Threaded closures wear, cross-thread and strip. Removing the thread eliminates that entire failure mode, leaving a simpler and more reliable structure with no mechanical catch to break.
Stronger hold, stackable. The tail uses a twin-magnet arrangement for a stronger pull, and multiple pens connect end to end so colours can be combined freely.
What did not change
The cap and barrel keep the same outer diameter, so the line stays continuous across the joint. The magnetic meeting point closes seamlessly, which gives a practical everyday seal — there is no mechanical catch and no thread, so the body can be rinsed under water. The writing pen continues to take standard, widely available refills, so the barrel is a long-term instrument rather than a consumable.
Who this suits
If a pen lives in a pocket, a bag or a drawer and is opened often, the magnetic closure removes the small friction that threaded pens accumulate over time. For buyers ordering in volume, the absence of threads also removes the most common failure reason from after-sales considerations.
